These terms and conditions apply to all your purchases from PLUG IT Pty Ltd
(ABN: 14 615 861 491).
They contain very important information about your legal rights and obligations, including legal limitations and exclusions that apply to you. By placing an order for any product from PLUG IT ("PLUG IT.com.au"), you ("Customer / Consumer") agree to be bound by the terms and conditions listed below. You and PLUG IT.com.au agree that the following terms and conditions are the exclusive terms governing the sales transaction between the Customer and PLUGIT.com.au.
Any attempt to alter, supplement, modify or amend these terms and conditions by the Customer will be considered a material alteration of this agreement and, therefore, are null and void. In addition, these terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, without prior written notice. Therefore, please check these terms and conditions carefully each time you place an order with or accept delivery of any goods from PLUGIT.com.au.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. In addition to the rights and remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law you may also be entitled to benefits under the terms of any additional manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer's warranty (if it applies to your product) does not in any way affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the item from our website under our terms and conditions. At this point, there is no acceptance by PLUG IT to supply any product. PLUG IT reserves the right to refuse service; terminate service; remove or edit contents; or cancel and refund an order at their sole discretion. If your order cannot be accepted or processed, you will be contacted by email or phone.
You must be at least 18 years of legal age to order products from PLUG IT. By agreeing to the terms and conditions and ordering from us, you are acknowledging that you are 18 years old or above. You must also elect to have products sent to an Australian postal address as we do not ship overseas at this time.
Currency, GST and Price
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). All prices are not inclusive of shipping cost. Shipping cost is shown separately and is calculated based on your location and product type.
No refund will be applicable if a product you have purchased becomes available at a lower price. We reserve the right to change the price on our advertised products without any prior notice. This is one of the ways we update and keep our prices competitive at all times.
PLUG IT currently only accepts payment methods mentioned below:
- Use as a payment gateway and pay by Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
- Surcharge will be applied at check out. PLUG IT reserves the right to change the rate without prior notice.
Payment will only be processed when all necessary information is provided. Please make sure you have assisted in providing the correct information on all necessary fields. Credit card payments are processed instantly the moment you click confirm order button. If the payment has been processed, verified and confirmed, we will send you a payment confirmation email along with the tax invoice attached.
Our business hours are between Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 5.30pm, excluding NSW public holidays. Orders made during the weekend or public holiday will not be processed until the next business day.
Dispatch and Delivery
If you are registered user, you can log in to your account to view the current status of your order. When our orders are dispatched, you will receive an auto-generated email from us indicating the courier company we used, as well as the associated tracking number. If you did not receive the item within the estimated delivery period and the tracking number provided is not helping, please contact us.
All items will be delivered to the shipping address provided unless otherwise agreed by us. PLUG IT will take reasonable care to dispatch your order within the estimated dispatch time frame provided in our listing.
The estimated shipping time frame is 1-7 business days after dispatch, depending on the shipping address and is subject to the limitations of our third-party delivery companies. As such, we do not guarantee that the item will be delivered within the estimated delivery time frame. Unless you have opted for postal insurance, we cannot guarantee you will be compensated for any loss or damage in transit. The decision to compensate for a lost or damaged parcel will depend on the third-party courier.
Order Amendment or Cancellation – requested by customer
We cannot guarantee changes to your order can be made once it has been paid for. An order cannot be amended or cancelled without prior written approval from PLUG IT. Changing of shipping address, product or quantity after you have paid are examples of amendments that need prior approval from us. You may not assume that we have to do so upon receiving your request. We reserve the right to approve or reject any requests for order amendment or cancellation based on your reasons; whether the time you provided for us to make the amendment or cancellation is reasonable; and presence of any delay from our side causing this request.
Please note that while your emails are important to us, they may not be read immediately after they are sent, so we do not assume responsibility for amending or cancelling on grounds that you emailed us shortly after paying for the order. If your order has already been shipped, you may return your order in accordance with our Warranty Returns Policy. We may also charge additional shipping costs if we need to resend your parcel for reasons including but not limited to the customer's change of mind, an incorrect address, the parcel being unclaimed, or a purchase made in error.
Order Cancellation – by PLUG IT
We reserve the right to cancel orders any time at our own discretion. If you have already paid for the order, we will issue a full refund or offer an equivalent or substitute product to you at our agreed price. If a product becomes unavailable, we may cancel the order and either offer you a substitute model or refund your payment as soon as possible.
Accuracy of Information
Although we endeavour to take all reasonable steps to ensure that information published on our website is correct, our system is not fail safe and errors can occur. As such, information may change without prior notice. PLUG IT will not hold liability for advertising incorrect information caused by a system failure or manufacturer error.
Refunds will only be made to the original bank account, credit card of purchase. If you paid with credit card, the refund will be made to the linked account. A maximum purchase limit by unit may be imposed.
Promotions by PLUG IT Pty Ltd are deemed to be finished when stock runs out or the promotion period expires, whichever comes first. A maximum purchase limit by unit may be imposed.
Without prejudice and to the extent allowed by the Trade Practices Act 1974, The Australian Consumer Law and Competition and Consumer Act 2010, all hardware sold by PLUG IT is covered by one-year limited warranty and is also backed by Australian manufacturer warranty. Where the manufacturer warranty period exceeds one year, we will advise the customer to contact the manufacturer directly for warranty support after the first year of purchase. Due to the nature of consumables products and software, they are not returnable or refundable items.
Any defective products purchased from PLUG IT and affiliates that fall within the warranty period provided will be covered, unless they fall within the following conditions:
· Physical Damage on the product not caused in the event during transit or Dead on Arrival (DOA) but caused due to mishandling, incorrect use of product for its purposes, improper installation of product, by accident, insect or vermin infestation, improper method or failure to maintain service and handle the item with reasonable care.
· The product has been modified using unauthorised methods. Any modifications on the product including physical and software modifications using third party unauthorised software such as third party firmware updates will void the warranty of products.
· The warranty seal or serial number of the item has been tampered with.
· The item has been serviced by another party other than plugit.com.au
· Consequential loss including but not limited to data, programs, software or other information stored on storage products, computer or laptop systems.

It is acknowledged that you are aware and have accepted these terms and conditions when you purchase from our website.
Credits in “My Account”
From time to time, there may be situations where we need to provide a credit due to promotions rebate or replacement of products.
Vouchers and Coupons
If you receive or purchase a voucher from us, it will appear in your “My account” page. This is another form of credit offered by PLUG IT that can be applied towards the payment of orders under the terms and conditions of each voucher issued. Vouchers are applied towards the payment before any other form of payments. Any excess of vouchers may be used for subsequent orders depending on the terms and conditions of voucher issued. Any balance remaining on the order after applying the voucher in your account, need to be paid off using other payment methods outlined in the payment methods section above.
Privacy of your personal information
Credit Card Fraudulence and Protection
We take the greatest of care to prevent credit card frauds by employing the latest SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology software for our payment checkout system to process our order. Our fraud prevention department may email you requesting for a copy of your credit card along with your driver’s license in the event that we receive information that the order could be a potential fraudulent or unauthorised activity. The information you provide will be destroyed after verification purpose is completed. If this happens, you need to assist and provide the information required to us within 7 days and your orders will not be processed until it passes the verification. If you fail to provide the required information, your order will be cancelled and your payment refunded back to the original account of purchase. While we take reasonable care and measures to prevent credit card fraud, we are not responsible for any damages or consequential loss (direct or indirect) suffered by our customers whose credit card has been used for fraudulent activity or been used in an unauthorised manner.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions or the sales transaction between PLUGIT.com.au and Customer shall be governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales or as defined by the Australian Consumer Law.
If any provision contained in this agreement is or becomes invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in whole or in part, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect the remaining provisions and portions of this agreement, and the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified so as to have the most similar result that is valid and enforceable under applicable law.
The failure of either party to require performance by the other party of any provision of this agreement shall not affect in any way the first party's right to require such performance at any time thereafter. Any waiver by either party of a breach of any provision in this agreement shall not be taken or held by the other party to be a continuing waiver of that provision unless such waiver is made in writing.
These terms and conditions, together with the PLUGIT.com.au's invoice respecting the products ordered by Customer, are the complete and exclusive agreement between PLUGIT.com.au and Customer, and they supersede all prior or contemporaneous proposals, oral or written, understandings, representations, conditions, warranties, and all other communications between PLUGIT.com.au and Customer relating to the subject products. This agreement may not be explained or supplemented by any prior course of dealings or trade by custom or usage.
PLUG IT and its affiliates will not be liable for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of data, or any indirect loss of damage or consequential loss in any event including negligence or breach of contracts. The maximum liability for any product we sell to you shall be equal to the price you have paid for the product, and no higher value than that.
PLUG IT does not accept liability for the following conditions, to the extent permitted by applicable laws:
- Any damage or injury of any nature caused when using our purchased product, whether in the correct or incorrect way.
· Any errors in our listing
· Any unauthorised access to our secure server
· Any warranty policies or representations regarding the quality, accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for purchase of any product maintained by non-affiliated website that are link to our website, including manufacturer’s website
· Any spyware, viruses, Trojan horses or other harmful codes transmitted to the website by any third party.
Statutory and Warranty
